Hood River, Oregon
While the wedding venue is 40 minutes from town, Hood River is the place to stay. Hotels, Airbnb, VRBO and the like are all in HR.
Our favorite hotels are linked below but summer reservations book up fast so please book early.
The Dalles, Oregon
If you are unable to attend friday's Garden Party and need only to stay Saturday evening after the wedding, The Dalles is a small town a bit closer to the venue and has a few hotel options.

Rental vehicles
Renting a vehicle at Portland International Airport is pretty simple
The airport is an hour outside of Hood River, so you will need a vehicle.
Other transportation
Hood River has a few UBER drivers but service is unreliable. There is a taxi service as well, but your best bet is to rent a car.
